Blue IQ, in partnership with Central Gauteng
Athletics and Jacaranda 94.2 wishes to
announce the extension of the closing date for
the Blue IQ City2City Ultra Marathon
to 02 September, 2008.
The organisers have had their hands full, feeding
calls from the public who are askingfor more time
to enter, particularly for those athletes who are
traveling to Johannesburg rom other provinces,
as well as runners from outside our borders, such
as Lesotho, Kenya and other Arican countries who
are expected to participate.
In view of the demand from the running fraternity therefore, the extension has been granted.T he Blue IQ City2City ultra marathon is Africa’s richest race with prize money totaling R1.3million. The inaugural City2City marathon will start in Pretoria and finish at the Mary Fitzgerald Square
(MFS) in Newtown. |
